"LLL Lucky"
 
 
   With horns of 64" T2T at 24 months of age, vibrant color, excellent size and wonderful confirmation we had raised a truly phenomenal Herd Sire that had it all.  Unfortunately, his career was cut short when, at 67 1/2" T2T and with T2T and Complete Horn bronzes in his trophy case, he died from a spinal injury at 27 months old. 

   While his loss is a blow to us and our partners at Buckhorn Ranch, he was a bigger loss to future generations.  On the bright side, we were able to breed him to a select handful of heifers and to collect enough semen to permit the Lazy L and Buckhorn programs to use him on a select group of exception females.  If his early results are an indication of the power of his genetics, we can look forward to great results from LLL Lucky.
