This big-bodied young cow is a colorful Gunman grand-daughter and is used in our embryo transfer program in breeding to Gun Smoke and to Shadowizm. She has a large set of horns with massive bases.

An unusual black and white Gunman daughter, with heavy horn bases and flat horns. She should make the low 60's easily. Her offspring usually have her color and we like to keep them in our own herd.

I would love for every female on our place to look like this, thick and colorful with over 70" twisty horns. Her sire goes back to Measles Super Ranger and her dam goes back to the WR line. She passed that color on to a Sue calf and I hope she passed on her horns as well. This beauty is in our flush pasture.

An extraordinary set of heavy oxbow horns on this Assassin daughter (out of Overwhelmer). She raises beautiful calves like our own Heavenly Heather and has 86" of Total Horn. She is being bred to Maximus.
 

Her breeding is unique for us but I like the way this gal is put together and her color is more remarkable in person than any picture I could take.  At almost 67" and a proven track record, we think this cow will cross well with Gun Smoke and we look forward to great things from her

This big black beauty came to us by way of Hudson Longhorns.  She will easily hit 60" with a ton of total horn and she is being bred to our 70" Shadowizm bull because we like the results of line breeding The Shadow.

One of my favorite Gunman daughters, this big horned cow passes her exceptional color on to her offspring which are typically grulla as well. She is in our Embryo Transfer program where she has routinely been bred to Gun Smoke, and our future plans call for her to be paired with Maximus for his Gunman influence.

A grand-daughter of Gunman and The Shadow, 22 has sturdy horns to go with her big body. Her coloration is unique with black stripes in unusual places and she passes these on to her calves, two of which have been spectacular herd sires. Catch 22 is in our Embryo Transfer pasture where she is alternately bred to Gun Smoke and PCC Evader.

A big, sturdy cow with 60" horns who occasionally brings us a Grulla calf, and is straight YO breeding. One of her daughters had almost 66" of horn at 6 years old when we sold her at the Legacy Sale.

Purchased from Buckhorn Cattle Co. at the Fiesta Sale, this loud Billy Bob daughter went straight to Gun Smoke's pasture.  She has a great set of horns that are headed for the high sixties.

We bought this big horned beauty at the 2005 Legacy sale and are delighted to have her in our herd. With nice color and size, she goes back to Emperor on top and TX Freckles on the bottom. We typically match Emperor blood with Gun Smoke, but I want to see how this cow crosses with Maximus.

This big bodied Emperor daughter is red with splashes of darker brown in her coat.  She has the kind of horns we would expect from Hoffman breeding and we expect them to continue to grow until she hits 66".

This girl has it all; tip to tip over 60" and lots of total horn. She has great confirmation and the prettiest color on our place, and she is being bred to our 71" Emperor grandson, Gun Smoke.

This grand daughter of The Shadow is out of a cow that has a history of making lots of horn. She is a half sister to Catch 22 and we expect her to have a big set of handlebar horns like her mother.

This big, brightly colored Emperor daughter was acquired from Bill Hudson and immediately paired with our 71" Gun Smoke bull to linebreed Emperor.  She has excellent bone structure and muscle mass and the size you would expect from Emperor.  

Out of Bob Loomis' program, this big horned gal was added to our Embryo Transfer program where she is being bred to Gun Smoke.  She is a big cow to have so much Butler influence and her calves tend to be large bodied with the same great horns as their mom. Red McCombs Ranches purchased this lady

You can see her sire’s 67" horns in this girl’s horn bases at 46” TTT as a three year old. She should go to the mid 60's TTT and have tons of Total Horn. I like her coloration and she produces colorful calves.

This is a line bred Tabasco cow by Billy the Kid.  Her horns are really starting to take shape as they flatten out to hit the 65" mark.  She brings us huge Gun Smoke calves in various colors. 

This is a double bred Gunman with flat horns that may go to 70", she raises nice calves and is being bred to Gun Smoke. Her coloration is really strong out in the pasture.

Straight out of Buckhorn's program, this Not Gunna by Phenomenon cross promises to make a great cross with Shadowizm. In addition to great confirmation, this young lady should have a monster set of horns. She is with our junior herd sire, Six Shooter, a full brother to the famous Gunman bull

More impressive in person than any picture I could take, this Zhivago granddaughter is by way of an Overwhelmer son. She measured 63.4" in January 2005 and is on her way to the high 60's TTT. She is being paired with Gun Smoke. 

Classic Ron Jones breeding, this 64" Gunman daughter probably will hit 65" before she is finished. She is in our Donor herd where her robust color and unique horn shape makes her a favorite of everyone who sees her.

This paint has liberal doses of Senator and Phenomenon in her lineage. She was 55.5" at 45 months on her way to the mid 60's TTT, and is being bred to Shadowizm for his size and Senator influence 

Ella is a big colorful cow who found a place in our herd because she is the dam of our Junior Herd Sire Evader. Her mother was out of Bail Jumper line which is one of our most productive crosses with the Gunman line. Her offspring tend to look a lot like their mom.

A 59"+/- producer out of a Butler sire and a TX Ranger grand-daughter, she has a proven track record of raising big calves.

A double bred Don Juan grand-daughter and a Coach daughter, she has a great disposition to go with good confirmation and horns.

Jiggles is just a spectacular Texas Longhorn. She is a big cow with lots of pretty grulla swirls and black on her nose, ears and horns. She has a massive set of horns that are growing the right direction and I can't keep her calves on the place. She is in our Embryo Transfer herd and being bred to Maximus and Evader.

More Ron Jones breeding, this venerable cow has a long distinguished record of raising spectacular calves. Her father, Super Shot, goes back to Bail Jumper and I like what Gunman does with that bloodline. She is consigned to the Celebration Sale, May 30-31, 2008 in Glenrose, Texas

This big bodied 60+" Gunman daughter also has Rangago in her family tree, she is being bred to Gun Smoke for the Emperor influence.

This unique Tabasco granddaughter goes back to Zhivago on top. She has it all; horn, color and size. She is one of the world class cows being flushed to Gun Smoke in our embryo transfer program.

Possibly one of the best examples of Dixie Ruler combined with Emperor blood. She is already well into the 60's and is not slowing down one bit.

A 63" own daughter of Monarch 103 by a Butler dam, this grand old gal has been bred to Gun Smoke for his Emperor influence. Her calves consistently are keepers.

This young cow is a swirl of color in motion, big bodied with Gunman blood she is being bred to Maximus. Her horns have just started to tip out so she should have some twist.

Another big horned, big bodied Ron Jones bred Gunman daughter, she is being bred to Gun Smoke. Her horns are rolling back in an ox bow shape and I am surprised by how impressive her horns are. The Gun Smoke/Gunman cross has proven to produce lots of lateral horn growth.

A young cow out of The Shadow and an Unlimited grand-daughter, this colorful and correct cow has a great set of horns and makes good calves. She is now with Gun Smoke for his Butler influence.

This is the dam of the famous Rutledge's Miss Sue 60/4 that brought $72,000 at the 2005 Millennium Futurity.  Her sire was Rutledge's Dinger who is no longer around so we are going to breed her to Shadowizm and see if he can accomplish the same great things with her.  In additional to her impressive past she is easy to look at.

A Sensor daughter by a double-bred Playboy cross, she is a correct and big horned gal with both TTT and Total Horn. She is in our donor herd where she will alternately being bred to Shadowizm for his Senator influence and Gun Smoke for his Emperor influence. Her 2004 heifer calf, LLL Rosemary, sold for $28,000 at the 2007 Legacy Sale

This pretty red and white speckled cow has a massive set of horns. She placed second in the 2003 Horn Showcase and fourth in a huge class at the Millennium Futurity. She is being bred to Gun Smoke and we expect an explosion of horn and color.

This big-bodied daughter of The Shadow out of an Unlimited grand-daughter, has the size, color and confirmation we like to breed to. The base of her horns is huge and I am delighted that her horns have finally started to roll back over into a twist. She was recently AI'd to Unlimited to see what that line breeding will produce.

A Shadowizm daughter out of a dam that goes back to Bail Jumper.  She could finish in the mid 60's despite breaking a good four inches off her right tip. She is a good mother cow and pleasant to be around.  She is exposed to our Junior Herd sire, Six Shooter. She is consigned to the TLMA Festival Sale, June 27-28, 2008. 

The biggest horned cow in our herd and an integral part of our Embryo Transfer program where she is being alternately bred to Gun Smoke and Maximus. She measured just over 72.5" TTT and 96" Total Horn when we bought her. We look forward to having her at the Horn Showcase. She has good size and color and we expect her to hit 75" before she is through

This colorful lineback has two our my favorite bloodlines, Gunman and Bail Jumper.  She just keeps pumping out horn while she brings us beautiful calves.  She is being bred to Maximus for the influence of linebreeding.

This big bodied cow is Gunman's mother and one of our most important embryo donor cows as we try to repeat the genetics that were such a marvel in her famous son.  We presently have 7 full brothers and sisters to the Gunman bull on our place and have come to appreciate Sizzle for the quality of her offspring

This product of the Gunman and Tabasco bloodlines may be one of the most interesting cows we own. She has great confirmation, heavy handlebar horns, unique coloring and she keeps bringing us grulla calves.

This handsome young cow is the product of Superman and Emperor blood. She did well in her Total Horn class at the 2003 Horn Showcase and could well hit 70" TTT. She is being bred to Gun Smoke.

This Butler cow bred by Buck Adams has unusually large horns for a black and white cow. I like her color and confirmation so much that she is one of the cows we are breeding to Gun Smoke. She raises strong calves that tend to be linebacks. She is consigned to the Midwest Sale, April 26, 2008

At 73 1/8" T2T we feel fortunate to have this light grulla female in our herd.  Her WR breeding on top is unusual for us but we have sought out offspring that goes back to 7HD Billy Bob like she does on the bottom.  She is in our flush pasture where we will flush her intermitently to Gun Smoke and Shadowizm.

This big-bodied beauty has been predicted to be in the high 60's TTT in each of her last three horn measurements. She is mostly Butler but goes back to Tabasco on top and we think she will do well with our junior herd sire, Six Shooter, who is a full brother to the famous Gunman bull.

This Wiregrass bred cow was second by tenths of a point out of 55 heifers at the 2002 Horn Futurity, and in addition to that beautiful confirmation, she has a great set of horns.

This Dixie Goer daughter is actually a double bred Emperor offspring.  She has great color, good size, nice confirmation and a set of horns that should poke right through 65".  She is being bred to our 70" youngster Maximus.

We bought this daughter of The Shadow from Darlene Aldridge and are delighted to have this big bodied, easy keeping female in the pasture with Maximus. The Shadow is a bloodline that we like to explore, as in our bull Shadowizm, and we like to cross him back on the Gunman line when we can. She was purchased by Red McCombs at the Red McCombs 80th Birthday Invitational Sale

This eye catcher has Bail Jumper and Not Gunna in her pedigree. Her horn forecast gets better each year as her horns flatten out. We really enjoy her shiny black coat and her gentle nature.

It is a miracle of nature that this is Shadowizm's mother, she just weaned one of his little brothers (Shadow Made in "Bull Calves" page) and will be she is raising one of his little brothers and is being flushed to his sire.
